"It’s the big pot that is worth the cost of admission here. I love that you can use it as a wok...It heats up quickly and evenly, is tall enough to contain a pretty good amount of the splatter, and cools off quickly enough to be able to wash it soon after."

Either way, your kitchen wins. We offer our Duo in two material configurations to best fit your kitchen style, from approach to aesthetics. Here’s the breakdown.

The all stainless steel model offers...
  • a modern design update to the cladded stainless classic.
  • lightweight construction for easy maneuvering.
  • an aluminum core for incredibly even cooking.
  • quick and easy cleanup in the dishwasher.
The carbon steel Skillet + stainless steel Pot combo gives you…
  • an unmatched mix of materials in one cookware kit.
  • the chance to season your Skillet like cast iron for a low-stick surface.
  • incredible durability to handle acidic sauces, metal tools, and high-heat cooking.

Our pans are designed to last for generations, so don’t be shy.

Use
  • Surfaces: For low-stick cooking success, we recommend bringing your pans to temp over low heat and adding a little extra fat.
  • Tools: Both of our materials can handle whatever tools and utensils you love best. Scuffs won’t affect performance.
  • Temps: Stainless can withstand temps to 500℉ and carbon can handle the heat to 700℉.
Care
  • Clean Up: Both our stainless and carbon are dishwasher safe, but carbon benefits from a gentle hand washing to build a seasoning.
  • Maintenance: Use Barkeeper’s Friend on stainless to maintain like-new shine. Over time stainless may discolor, which won’t harm the material, but Barkeeper’s Friend will fix it. Carbon gets better the more you use it, especially if you season your Skillet from time to time.
  • Storage: Dry your pans well before storing. The Duo nests in a streamlined stack to cut clutter, with the Pot on bottom, lid in the middle, and Skillet inverted on top.
